From Ingredients to Oven: Baking Cadbury Egg Cookies
Baking is a process that requires preparation, patience, and attention to detail. For this project, I documented the process of making Cadbury Egg cookies from start to finish. The photos below show each step of the baking process, including preparing the ingredients, mixing the dough, shaping the cookies, and baking them in the oven. This process showed me that baking is not just about following a recipe, but also about timing, organization, and attention to detail.
Before starting the baking process, I gathered and measured all the ingredients needed to make Cadbury Egg cookies. Preparing the ingredients ahead of time made the baking process more organized and easier to follow.
The first step in the baking process was melting the butter on the stove. Melting the butter helps create a softer cookie texture and makes it easier to mix with the other ingredients.
After the butter was melted, it was poured into a mixing bowl to begin combining the wet and dry ingredients. This step starts the process of forming the cookie dough.
Brown sugar was added to the melted butter and mixed together. The brown sugar adds sweetness and moisture to the cookies, which helps give them a soft texture.
Eggs were added to the mixture to help bind all the ingredients together. This step is important because it helps the dough hold its shape while baking.
After all the ingredients were combined, the dough began to form. At this stage, chocolate chips and Cadbury Egg pieces were mixed into the dough.
The cookie dough was scooped and placed onto a baking tray. The cookies were spaced apart so they would have room to spread while baking.
After baking in the oven, the cookies turned golden brown and were ready to cool. This showed that the baking process was complete.
After the cookies finished baking, the melted chocolate and Cadbury Egg pieces could be seen inside. These cookies are perfect to make for Easter, and this recipe can be used as a fun seasonal dessert to share with friends and family.
